Ingredients:
1/2 - Cup butter Softened
1/4 - Cup Shortening
11/2 - Cups Sugar
3 - Eggs
11/2 - Cup sifted cake flour
1/4 - tsp baking powder
1/2 - cup milk
1/4 - tsp vanilla extract
1/4 - tsp almond extract
Preparation:
Preheat oven to325 degree. Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each one. Combine flour and baking powder, gradually add to creamed mixture. Add milk, beating 5 minutes at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add flavorings.
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 9x5x2 loaf pan.
Bake 50-55 minutes in a 325 degree oven, until a pierced toothpick comes out clean.
