Ingredients:
½ stick of Butter/Margarine/”I cannot believe its not butter”
2-3 Serrano peppers very finely diced
½ inch ginger very finely diced
3-4 cloves garlic
2 lbs chicken diced
1 can of tomato sauce
½ pint of whipping cream
Salt to taste
Red chili powder as much as you would like to make it spicy (1 tbsp should be good)
Curry powder as much as you would like to make it spicy (1-2 tsp should be good)
Turmeric powder (a pinch). CAUTION: do not add too much turmeric powder to any Indian food you cook. Always less than ¼ tsp.
1 tsp of pav bhaji masala (you can omit if you don’t have this; you can get it at the Indian store)
Finely diced cilantro (optional)
Preparation:
Melt the stick of butter on a low flame.
Add diced ginger, garlic, and green chilies and sauté on low to medium heat for five minutes.
Add tomato sauce, turmeric, red chili powder, curry powder, pav bhaji masala, salt and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add chicken and cook until done.
Add whipping cream and cook for another five minutes.
Finally garnish with cilantro if desired.
